Christ Lutheran Church
Founded 1976

Christ Lutheran Church, a congregation of Evangelical Lutheran Church, was chartered on April 11, 1976. The first church building was dedicated on August 17, 1980. The congregation experienced rapid growth. Consequently, a larger sanctuary and fellowship hall were added and dedicated in 1989. Current membership is at 425.

The ministry of Christ Lutheran Church is guided by it's Mission Statement:

Looking Up to God - Reaching Out to the World - Gathering In With Love To support this mission focus, the following visions have been developed:

+Looking Up to God -- Be a congregation grounded in the word of God; Deepen Our Spiritual Life; Enrich our worship experience.

+Reaching Out to the World -- Make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:19); Identify and respond to the needs of our community - local and global; Pursue our Mission as a Christ-driven church.

+Gathering in With Love -- Strengthen community and fellowship among our members; Identify and nurture leaders within our congregation and the church at large; Broaden participation and involvement of our members in ministry.

Worship services are provided in our beautiful sanctuary where God's Word is faithfully proclaimed and God's Name glorified in liturgical services, supported by a choir of over 25 voices.

Christ Lutheran Church is serious about it's mission within and beyond our community. We extend a helping hand through many different ministries and support local and world wide missionary efforts to bring help to the hungry, homeless and oppressed.

We cordially invite you to share with us in worship, ministry and life in and through the grace of God, made known in God's Son, Jesus Christ. For more information, please call 501-922-1865 or email our pastor at: clcpastor@suddenlinkmail.com

"Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you, and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you shall find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy, and My load is light." Matthew 11: 28-30
