Christ Lutheran Church is located in beautiful Hot Springs Village, a sophisticated and culturally-alive gated community in the Ouachita Mountains of central Arkansas. If you are looking for a place to retire, we invite you to check out HSV. Then come by Christ Lutheran and look us over. We're pretty sure you'll like what you see.

Our congregation is a member of the Arkansas/Oklahoma Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. You'll feel comfortable right away in the midst of a congregation whose more than 400 members hail from all over the United States. What they have in common with their Lutheranism is they either lucked on the Village or did their research well. There are 11 beautiful, well-stocked lakes, nine splendid golf courses and its 12,000 residents have formed a myriad of clubs and associations that cover just about every activity you can think of, from quilting and bridge to bocce ball and Great Books discussions. The Village has its own auditorium where concerts and plays are performed and its own radio station and newspaper.

Whether you are here only for a visit or as a long-term member of the community, you will find that Christ Lutheran is committed to sharing the good news of the saving grace of God through the witness of His Son, Jesus Christ. We want to befriend the stranger, care for the ill, distressed and bereaved and nurture all believers through the Word and Sacraments.

We have a smaller sister ELCA church, Community of Joy Lutheran Church, which you might also want to visit. When you come to the Village, drop by and say hello. In the meantime, you can get a better idea of what we're about by taking a virtual tour by clicking on the buttons on the left.
